Plasmodium Falciparum Found in 9 Engeering Personnel from Sourth Africa

On 4 November 2016, at Cambodian Airbase, medical staff from Department of Health, General Department of Logistics and Finance, Ministry of National Defense, joined the tasks with ministry of health to conduct malaria screening for returned engineering personnel from South Africa.

9 of 185 soldiers were found positive in PF (Plasmodium Falciparum), and received treatment drugs for 3 days admistration. They were instructed to continue to monitor their health and must report immediately in case of any adversed events.
